You will never know your limits unless you push yourself to them

For years, GDI has been the most successful academy for hockey goalies in Germany. Various DEL goalkeepers have spawned from the GDI training programs. This is why by now there is a remarkable amount of well-trained German goalkeepers – both technically and tactically. However, the most significant guarantor for constant high performance on a pro level is an outstanding physical education. Only those who are physically able to always push their performance limit, have the ability to play their best game while being under immense mental pressure.

For this reason, GDI has teamed up and shared their expertise with leading athletic experts. GDI and ALLOUT have jointly developed the first program that exclusively targets hockey goalie education. The conditional requirements for goalies differ significantly from field players. To close this gap, we offer you an analysis of your individual performance profile.

Let us show you your full potential in only two days to then optimize it with an individual training plan. On top, we support you with the best preparation and regeneration strategies for both training and competition. We remained loyal to the principle of a self-development concept. All of our goalie athletic camps are tailored to your needs so you can always determine your own future level of athletic self-improvement. The ideal and individual physical preparation for the next season is GDI’s and ALLOUT’s all-time goal.

Director GDI – ALLOUT Performance Athletic Camps

Hannover-born, former pro football player and coaching psychology specialist Robert Mager is well-known for his attention to detail and contagious passion. These qualities are only some of the reasons for the numerous championship titles he already achieved in his coaching career.

At ALLOUT, the experienced coach works as performance director for the entire pro sports segment and is responsible for the constant quality management and enhancement of all ALLOUT coaches.

Alongside his almost finished sport studies at the Cologne sports university, he constantly gathers experience by collaborating with UK Strength and Conditioning as well as top-notch US coaches.

Athletic Coach

Badri Heinz was trained at ALLOUT and has worked in supporting and organizational positions in the background of our Athletic Camps in the past years. Today, Badri is our man for the main camps in Garmisch and the go-to contact for all of our athlete’s fitness questions.

GDI Regional Manager & Goalie Coach

Sports and training scientist with focus on competitive sports (B.A.)

Goalie coach Michael Elmer has been in a leading position at the GDI Goalie Academy since 2008. He took part in a mentoring program under the direction of GDI director Benedikt Weichert. Despite his young age he’s already looking back on a long career as goalie coach. In the pro sector he’s already worked as goalie coach for Schwenningen, Vienna, Nuremberg, Landshut, Bad Tölz, Liz and Düsseldorf. He’s worked as goalie coach for the DEL team Adler Mannheim since the 2017/2018 season. Prior to that, he gained reputation through his great work in the junior sector, culminating in the German student championship (Bad Tölz) as well as the DNL championship (Landshut). As sports scientist, he constitutes an important element in the interface between on- and off-ice performance.
